Operations emails

Practical Operations thinking, when there is something worth sharing.

Subscribe for useful observations, new articles and resources about making work clearer and easier to run.

I write about execution, workflows, leadership, delegation, performance, systems, tools and the problems that appear as a business grows.

What you can expect

The emails may begin with questions such as:

  • Why does work still come back to the founder even after it has been delegated?
  • Where do handoffs lose information, and what would make them more reliable?
  • When does a team need a process, and when would another process only get in the way?
  • What should be clear before a workflow is automated?
  • How can expectations and feedback help people become more independent?

Some emails will point to a new article or resource. Others may be a shorter observation, a practical example or a question worth thinking through.

There is no fixed publishing schedule. I send an email when I have something useful to share.
